This morning I’ve published the report on my community consultation, the Big Conversation (read it here) on which I spoke in Parliament last week. I’ll be in the Commons Chamber with the Shadow Brexit team today, on Wednesday as debate continues on the EU Withdrawal Bill - this time on the issues around devolution – and, on Tuesday, for the Prime Minister’s statement on her meeting in Brussels ahead of next week’s crucial European Council meeting on the Brexit negotiations.
Tomorrow I’ll be speaking at an event organised by the All Party Motor Group on access to talent and the movement of people for the automotive sector post-Brexit, talking to members of the House of Lords about residence rights for EU citizens at a briefing organised by campaign group the 3 Million, and talking about the impact of Brexit on London’s universities at an event organised by London Higher.
I’ll be talking to students from Sheffield College who are visiting Parliament on Wednesday, and hope to join a debate on the demolition of Palestinian communities on the West Bank, drawing on the experiences from my recent visit.
Back in Sheffield on Friday, I’ll be catching up with the Chair and Chief Executive of the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, meeting with the City Council about regional and local transport issues and, on Saturday, I’ll have one of my regular advice surgeries.
