Paul Blomfield A strong voice for Sheffield Central
The tragic events in Manchester halted campaigning last week as all our thoughts turned to those killed and injured in the appalling attack, and to their families and friends. After the national moment of silence on Thursday I started campaigning again and will be throughout the week ahead. The reception I’ve received has been brilliant and it’s great to see all the posters everywhere (if you want one, get in touch here).
I’m also meeting with community groups, going along to the Amphifest, and participating in three hustings:
-
Wednesday 31 May, at 7pm, on Migration and Asylum at Central United Reformed Church, Norfolk Street. Organised by South Yorkshire Migration and Asylum Action Group.
-
7pm, Thursday 1 June on Housing at the Victoria Hall Methodist Church on Norfolk Street. Organised by Renters Rising.
-
Sunday 4 June, at 6pm. Open hustings at St. Mark’s Church, Broomhill. Organised by the church.
As I’m not an MP while Parliament is dissolved for the election, my office is only allowed to take on urgent casework -; just ring 0114 272 2882 as usual to get in touch with a caseworker for advice. If you want to contact me about the election or for any other reason, please email paul_blomfield@labour.org.uk or ring me on 07961 555 568.
