After holding 18 of the 39 Big Conversation events last week, I headed off to Liverpool yesterday for Labour’s annual conference, where I’ll be until Wednesday, when I’m back in Sheffield for more events and meetings.

As well as the debate in the main conference hall, there’s a packed programme of other meetings at Labour’s conference. Today I’ll be speaking at Universities UK’s roundtable on international students, joining Prospect’s panel discussion ‘How can we support our higher education sector post-Brexit’, meeting with the Open University and attending the conference reception of the European Parliamentary Labour Party. Tomorrow I’ll be speaking at the Labour Business Forum, meeting with the Refugee Council, joining a panel discussion organised by the 3 Million, and speaking a Labour Campaign for Electoral Reform event.

Back in Sheffield on Wednesday the Big Conversation continues with a meeting on Climate Change in Central United Reform Church at 7pm (Facebook and Eventbrite links) and on Thursday I’ll be visiting King Edward VII School to hear the views and concerns of students. On Friday I’ll be holding a café drop-in at St Andrews URC at 2pm (Facebook link) and in the afternoon doing one of my regular advice surgeries.

On Saturday I’ll be holding Big Conversation street surgeries in Nether Edge and Highfield, and another one on Sunday in Wybourn.
