I’ll be on Radio Sheffield this afternoon talking about my reaction to the consumer group Which?’s annual rail survey, which gave Northern the lowest customer satisfaction ratings (of 32% satisfaction) in the country.

In response to today’s report I’ve said:

“Its rock bottom rating confirms everything constituents have been telling me. They have scored lowest of every train company in the country on every factor, from reliability to quality of services. This significant report from ‘Which?’ shows what a lottery the system has become. Local people shouldn’t have to put up with it, just because of where we live and who has the rail contract. Labour’s plan to bring rail back into public ownership aims to improve services for everyone.”
