My politics have always been about working with people to campaign to make a fairer, more equal society. But choosing your MP is not about me, it’s about you. After all, politics is about people deciding together how they want things done. Politicians are there to help and to provide a voice and speak out for people. So as your MP I will be totally committed to Sheffield Central and the issues that affect us, and promise to be a new strong voice for you in Parliament. 

As your MP, I’ll always be open and honest about my views and keen to listen to yours. On key issues I’ll consult with you, and I’ll work with you because the issues that concern you are the issues that concern me. I’m always prepared to speak out when I feel strongly about issues.

I’m really keen to hear your views and about your priorities. I’ll organise regular forums across the constituency open to all local people. I’ll use new technology to be accessible and to make sure that having a conversation with you has never been easier. I’ll work with and support organizations that work in our communities.
