Sheffield generosity beats target

Sheffield people’s generosity has raised over £1,400 for my Christmas Appeal for Sheffield Foodbanks, beating the original target I set in less than two weeks. I've now set a new target of £2,500.

It’s fantastic that so many people have already donated to my Christmas Appeal for Sheffield Foodbanks and I’m hoping that many more will give too. It’s vitally important that foodbanks have the resources to help those in need.

It’s disgraceful that people are forced to use foodbanks and in Parliament I’ve urged the Government to scrap the policies fuelling this crisis. But shamefully there are too many families going hungry. I want to ensure that every family in Sheffield has food to eat this Christmas and beyond.

You can donate to the Christmas Appeal for Sheffield Foodbanks here.
