Parliament is in recess for the next two weeks. So I’ll be in Sheffield catching up with meetings, working with my team on casework, clearing my emails – and taking a few days break.

Today I’ll be giving a guest lecture to the University of Sheffield International College on international students in the UK and how we can expect Brexit to affect students in the future, and visiting Sheffield Mencap and Gateway. As well as seeing a number of constituents over the days ahead I’ll be catching up with the Chief Executive of Museums Sheffield, before we see the Culture Minister. Together with other local MPs I’ll be talking with the Sheffield Local Medical Committee, which represents local GPs, and I’ll be speaking at a fundraiser for Labour Friends of Palestine.

I hope everyone has an enjoyable and restful Easter weekend!  The next preview of ‘My Week’ will be posted when Parliament returns on Tuesday, 18 April.
