Today I challenged the Prime Minister over the Government’s decision to scrap maintenance grants for undergraduate university students. A third of students on grants say they would not have gone to university without them. It’s shocking that the Government is pushing through a move that will hit the poorest students without even providing the opportunity for MPs to debate it. Watch it here.
