Parliament returns tomorrow after the August recess (you can read what I’ve been up to in my latest newsletter), but I’m down in Westminster today to speak at a meeting of the Ethical Medicines Industry Group in my role as Shadow Brexit Minister. Tomorrow I’ve submitted a question on the situation in Myanmar for Foreign and Commonwealth Questions, but I don’t know if I’ve been selected yet, and I’ll have a number of meetings on Brexit.

On Wednesday I’m meeting with pharmaceutical company Novartis in my role as a Shadow Minister, catching up with other Sheffield MPs on local issues, and attending a couple of meetings on the campaign for electoral reform, which I strongly back. On Thursday I’m seeing the Chief Executive of Universities UK and have other meetings on international students, before heading back to Sheffield.

On Friday I’ll be ‘in the hot seat’ on Toby Foster’s radio programme on BBC Radio Sheffield to talk about my community consultation the Big Conversation and to hear local concerns. I’ll be on 9am – 10am and you can call with your questions – on the Big Conversation or any other aspect of my work – on 0800 111 49 49!

I’ll also be joining Age UK to support their Care in Crisis campaign, meeting with the Lord Lieutenant of South Yorkshire and in the evening I’ll be going to the Manor Castle Community Awards. Then on Saturday morning I’ll be holding one of my regular advice surgeries.
