I arrived in Brighton yesterday for Labour Party Conference. Alongside the main conference, I’ll be speaking at meetings on Brexit, skills, and electoral reform. I’ll also be joining policy discussions with party members and trade unionists on Brexit, and meeting with businesses and charities to hear their views and concerns.

I’ll be heading back to Sheffield on Wednesday to welcome the Chinese Ambassador to the city and to speak alongside him at the opening of the “Model Confucius Institute” at the University of Sheffield Confucius Institute. I’ll then be catching the Blades take on Wolves and hopefully pick up three points in the evening.

The Big Conversation is still in full swing, with two events on Thursday:

Big Conversation on the Environment – Thursday 28th September, 16:45-;18:30 – Sheffield Quaker Meeting House, 10 St James Street, S1 2EW (On Facebook) (Eventbrite ticket)

Big Conversation meeting for Women – Thursday 28th September, 7pm -; 8:30pm – St Mary’s Church, Bramall Lane, Sheffield, S2 4QZ (On Facebook)

On Friday I’ll be in my constituency office catching up with staff, replying to emails and dealing with casework.
