Visit to Parliament!

Monday 11th July 2016

Westminster and the Houses of Parliament are the centre of Government in the UK. It’s also where I work Mondays—Thursdays!

But it’s your Parliament too and I am committed to creating opportunities for constituents to explore and learn more about this amazing place.

So following the success of previous visits,  I am now planning another! More details are inside this leaflet and if you are interested in coming then please get in touch as indicated, and as soon as possible as these visits are very popular!

It would be great to welcome you to where I work on your behalf and to give you the opportunity to learn more about the history and working arrangements of our Houses of Parliament.

The tours are on foot and generally  around 75 minutes in duration and are ‘full’ tours which visit the Chambers of both the House of Commons and House of Lords. Quite a lot of walking is involved!

Dress code - smart and comfy!

THE COST OF THE VISIT IS £25 PER PERSON (this covers travel only, the tour is of no cost.)

Any surplus, after all costs are covered, will be donated to the Sheffield Young Carers– one of the local charities I support.
