Today I’ll be speaking on health and social care as part of the ‘Estimates Day’ debates. But before that I’ve a trustees meeting of Focus on Labour Exploitation, a charity that I helped to found. Although Brexit isn’t as big a part of my week as it has been recently, it will still be a feature, and later today I’ll have a meeting with Labour Lords about the Article 50 Bill.

On Tuesday I’ll be talking to the Head of Employment and Skills Policy at the Institute of Directors, meeting with Inspiring Youth Project Award Winners, meeting with the Association of Colleges, and talking with Make Votes Matter about electoral reform and proportional representation, which I’ve supported for a long time.

On Wednesday I’ll be going to a PCS drop-in session about redundancies at the Equality and Human Rights Commission, in the Commons Chamber to ask Government Ministers about government funding for the energy sector in Scotland, meeting with fellow Labour MPs about housing challenges in University towns and cities, talking to constituents campaigning for the One Campaign, and going to an event for alumni and friends of the University of Sheffield.

I hope to be drawn for DEFRA Questions on Thursday, before heading back to Sheffield. On Friday morning I’ll be hosting a Disability Confident conference, encouraging firms to open up opportunities to people with disabilities, and then later in the day I’ll have meetings with constituents, including the Chair of Sheffield and District African Caribbean Community Association.
