Today’s Budget, where the Chancellor will lay out the Government’s tax and spending plans, will dominate the Parliamentary week. I’ll be in the Chamber this afternoon for the Budget statement and the response from the Leader of the Opposition.

We’ll then be debating the budget every day this week, with votes on Thursday. I’ll be speaking on Tuesday where I’ll set out concerns raised by constituents during my Big Conversation (read the report here).

On Wednesday I’ll be at a meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Students, which I chair, where Nicola Dandridge, the Chief Executive of the Office for Students, will be talking about the OfS’s strategy for student mental health. Later that day I’ll be welcoming constituents who are visiting Parliament (just drop me an email if you’d like to visit).

Also this week, as well as meetings on Brexit, I’ll be meeting the new Palestinian Ambassador to the UK with the Britain-Palestine All Party Group, attending the launch of Islamophobia Awareness Month, and meeting a constituent who’s in Parliament as part of a Campaign for Real Ale lobby to prevent local pub closures.
