Paul Blomfield Former MP for Sheffield Central
Lots of constituents have raised their difficulty accessing an NHS dentist and I’ve spoken in Parliament on it previously, as well as meeting the Local Dental Committee to discuss the action needed to keep dentists offering NHS services.
Today I had the opportunity to make the case directly to the responsible Minister Neil O’Brien MP when he appeared before the Select Committee on Health and Social Care as part of our inquiry on NHS dentistry and pressed him on when and how the Government would ensure that everyone had access to an NHS dentist.
