I’m really enjoying the election campaign. It’s great to get out knocking on doors and meeting so many people -; and I’m hugely grateful for all the support that I’ve received. It’s great to see all the posters and garden stakes going up everywhere (if you want want one, get in touch here). I’ll be knocking on lots more doors in the week ahead -; and, in between, there are a few events too.

There are two hustings this week -; one on Education on Tuesday at 6.30pm organised by the NUT and one on Friday at 6pm at the University of Sheffield, organised by the Union’s Debating Society. Both are open to everyone. Also this week I’ll be at an event encouraging young people to register to vote, meeting with the local Yemeni community, speaking at a Palestine Solidarity Campaign event and joining the launch of the Gardeners’ Rest Community Society, whose crowdfunding bid I backed.

As I’m not an MP while Parliament is dissolved for the election, my office is only allowed to take on urgent casework -; just ring 0114 272 2882 as usual to get in touch with a caseworker for advice. If you want to contact me about the election or for any other reason, please email paul_blomfield@labour.org.uk or ring me on 07961 555 568.
