I was pleased to launch ‘110 Outlet’, a new project set up by SYAC the South Yorkshire African Caribbean Business and Enterprise Training Centre (SYAC) to help entrepreneurs in the BAME communities to sell their products. The ‘110 Outlet’ allow new businesses to meet potential customers and test out their market whilst trading, and offers ‘Business Basics’ workshops will be held at the outlet one day a week.

Focusing on unique jewellery, clothing, accessories, crafts, greeting cards, food and more, the outlet is open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am until 4pm – so do call in. The initiative is part of SYAC’s ‘All Round Enterprise’ (ARE) project, which provides learning opportunities, encourage entrepreneurship and identify the skills, talents and abilities of the BAME community in Sheffield.
