I have again joined with other Sheffield Labour MPs in writing to the Foreign Secretary pressing for him to intervene with the Israeli Government on the case of the Sumarin family, who are facing eviction from the home where they have lived in East Jerusalem for over 50 years. 

In our letter, which follows on from one we wrote in June 2020, we highlight how the case is part of a wider pattern of forced evictions in occupied Palestinian territories. We have asked what representations the Government has already been made on the issue and urged them to press harder against evictions.
