I joined colleagues from the Health and Social Care Select Committee today on a visit to the Francis Crick Institute to meet with scientists and clinicians leading research to develop understanding of cancer in order to improve diagnosis and treatment, as part of our inquiry into ‘Future Cancer’.

We also discussed what more government could do to support their work and heard a strong call for association with Horizon Europe – something I’ve been pressing.
