I’ve been campaigning on gambling harm for six years since the issue was raised with me by local constituents Charles and Liz Ritchie, whose son took his life as a result of gambling addiction. 

Today I participated in a Westminster Hall debate on a petition promoted by the gambling industry to oppose gambling affordability checks which are a key part of the Government’s proposals to limit gambling harm.
