I’ve been campaigning for the Government to end the crisis in NHS Dentistry for a long time and have raised it in Parliament several times and worked with colleagues on the Health and Social Care Select Committee on a report with recommendations for action.

The Government’s Dental Recovery Plan fell well short of what we recommended and today we pressed the Minister on it. In an exchange with me she admitted that the promise of 2.5 million new appointments had “quite a high likelihood of not being reliable”.
