Sheffield Central Constituency Labour Party have started their process of selecting their next Labour Candidate for Parliament, as I’ve announced my retirement at the next General Election.

It’s a decision for local Labour members, but lots of people locally have asked for my view, so I thought I’d share it.

I’ve campaigned with Abtisam Mohamed on issues from childcare to investment in Sheffield.

She’s got the experience, values and energy to make a great MP for Sheffield Central – and I’m delighted to support her.
